Fishing in the Florida Keys, the only way to go. We have it all – Offshore, Wrecks, Reef, and Backcountry!
Visitors of all ages can enjoy the thrill of fighting a fish. We have numerous tournaments as well. One of my favorite things to do is fish a tournament. We volunteer the day to the Grunt Tournament for the Marc House (Monroe Association for Retarded Citizens, Inc.) If my crew and anglers keep winning, they may change the rules.
That’s okay, we’ll still win!
Captain Seaweed also enters the Conch Republic Ladies Dolphin Championship. Tons of fun, some of the best days I’ve ever had. You never know what you’ll see miles from shore. The race, antisipation, thrill of a fish-on, and the full throttle back to the dock before the scales close…. Tournaments are great days, even if you don’t win. But if you do win, well, I don’t think there’s a word to describe that.
I have fished all my life. My father has several worlds records with the IGFA. He introduced fishing to me on a large scale. He fished marlin, tuna, sailfish, drum, and more. As a small child, I would get seasick every single day. Over the years, seasick has become a thing of the past. (Hang in there, this too shall pass). Fishing is a gift that I will treasure forever. Whether your children are fishing for the first time, or you are a Tournament Pro, fishing in the Keys offers a day of life long memories. Check out tournament information and don’t miss the boat on this one.
